What is somatic movement?

These movement flows are great for relieving tension and aches associated with prolonged sitting, standing or repetitive tasks. With your new awareness you can make different movement choices and move through life with more ease and vitality.Somatic movement
Based on the principles of Hanna Somatic Education, these gentle somatic yoga movements use 'pandiculations' to help the brain to muscle pathway remember and re-pattern itself. Pandiculation is a controlled and gentle contraction and release of a muscle to help re-set and re-activate optimum muscular function.
When you let go of the patterns that are no longer useful you allow more life and energy into your body.
