Movement sessions

Are you looking for some help to get moving or just want to feel better in your body?  Whether it be to relax, release bodily stress and tension or improve strength and posture, I can take you through a personal, one-to-one session that focuses on your movement needs and goals.  I have two options for working with me, individual private sessions or a series of 6 weekly sessions.

Please note, I work online over zoom, all you need is access to zoom and a camera where I can see your body on a mat on the floor, or chair.

 

I also offer private sessions in your space where I will come to you (within 30 minutes drive of Brisbane CBD).  Please contact me to discuss this option.

 

Single one-to one session - online $75 / in person $90
​If you'd like to try Pilates or Somatic movement in a one-on-one session where you will have personal guidance from me then you can book a single session in either Pilates mat work, Pilates reformer or somatic movement.


Before our session I will establish your previous movement history, health situation and goals to see how a private session would be suited to you.

Movement Pack - (6 sessions) - online $440/ in person $530
This option is a series of 6 weekly sessions to help you establish your own home practice. I will write you a personal program that will help you work towards your movement goals and which feels good for your body.

​​Over the weeks, I can help you establish a movement practice that fits into your life as sometimes our best intentions fall by the wayside and we need some guidance to stay on course and be inspired.  In your personal session I can discuss ways that you can make movement a routine part of your day and enjoy doing so.  Sometimes all we need is someone to check in with and who will champion our efforts.

These sessions are designed to give you confidence in yourself.  I will help you understand how to move well in your body so that you feel confident about moving ahead with your own sustainable movement practice.
